Fun medical fact: many amputees can feel “phantom pain” where their missing limb/s were/was

Wait what? What’s that like?

I wouldn’t know. I had a mechanical heart for a while, which rubbed against my left rib. I still have pain there after nearly 3 years post heart transplant. 8 asked my transplant Drs if it could be phantom pain. They just put it down to soft tissue damage.
