Yeah, there's a pattern of US state's making their flags their state seals slapped on a dark blue background. From a distance, I could tell half of them apart.
Nebraska's flag once flew upside-down, AT THE STATE CAPITOL BUILDING, for several days, and only one person noticed.
Missouri and Wyoming are the best US state flags with seals on them IMHO, even know Wyoming's flag would be better off without it.
Arkansas, I'm sorry, remove your name from your flag, and center the stars, then we'll talk. Illinois, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts... your flags look too similar to surrender flags. Tennessee, please invert your design.
And to all the states with seals or coats of arms on solid-colored backgrounds, either do something with them, or come up with something unique. Your current designs make better banners. No ones going to see them when they're flapping in the wind.
