In a timeline where Eggyhead made it to the war with the Tyrant, Eggyhead was fighting, protecting innocent people, when the Tyrant hit Eggyhead at the right time, sending him flying into a Violet star. (this is the only way to permanently kill Eggyhead) Eggyhead was burnt to a crisp, but he didn't die. His body was burning but his soul was floating outside the star, watching his body burn. Eggyhead was in total shock, and by the time he noticed, the war at the citadel was over. Eggyhead went down to the Citadel and everyone was in shock, they were just mourning the loss of Eggyhead, when he appeared before them. But something was wrong with him. He had lost all color, and a black aura appeared around him. Despite this, everyone was happy to see him. Inkmatas ran to Eggyhead and gave him a hug, only to be sucked into Eggyheads aura. Eggyhead was shocked to see his friend be consumed by his aura. The Collecter assumed that this was an evil being impersonating Eggyhead, and attacked. Eggyhead was dodging Collecter, not wanting the same thing that happened to Inkmatas to happen to him. He tried to speak, but his mouth was gone, he couldn't tell the Collecter that he didn't mean to do what he did. He felt terrible guilt for what he accidentally did to Inkmatas, but his guilt was his (well actually the Collecters) downfall. The Collecter landed a hit in Eggyheads gut, and was absorbed into it. Eggyhead felt stronger physically, but so much weaker mentally. Before any of his other friends could be consumed, he left and went to his home planet. He started crying and crying, until the resistance found Eggyhead, but Eggyhead was too deep in sorrow to fight. The entire resistance attacked Eggyhead, only to be absorbed. Eggyheads aura and strength grew and grew as he absorbed more of his friends, until his aura grew to the size of the multiverse.
It was pitch black all around, Eggyhead felt so strong, but so weak. Eggyhead cried for hours, and the hours turned into days. It is said his sorrow is so strong, that even thinking about it induces sadness.
