Fun fact about these birds:
They usually lay there eggs in rocks

The eggs are camouflaged, but it is near its right leg. They are colored black and gold.

That's like a ring plover

Hate to be that person, but kewlew got the bird species correct. A Ringed Plover has a more orangeish eye ring. I'm not gonna get into details anyway-

I didn't say it was but like! Do you also have a bird called a ring plover in the States? I'd never heard of a killdeer but I don't think we have one like that in Europe.

I'm well aware of what a Ring Plover is.
But kewlew is correct, it is a Killdeer.

Although it is part of the plover family this is a killdeer :-)
