I agree with everything in that statement. I would add that the freaks and weirdos came out for Nixon too. Also it did set the stage for putting heads of state above the law.

I’m going to go with de-evolution. Extreme conservatism seems to be simping itself out but never doubt the power of the occult! That is a very interesting point about Barry Goldwater BTW.

A nonviolent element of taking things into our own hands is definitely called for. If we want to live in some semblance of a liberal democracy, we must force the issue.

Not even close to the amount of pressure I think is necessary. (And I'm in no way suggesting voting is unnecessary.)

You’re right, if you want to make a difference you need to do more than vote. You’ve got to mobilize and support your causes because if you don’t have a bunch of money, then no one cares about what you think. I say that you can have a bigger impact on culture with art, than you can with violence.

If you read more on the website I linked to, they've found that nonviolent revolutions are TWICE as successful as violent revolutions!
