Overall the gameplay is… interesting for a Pokémon game. The open world vibe is very odd for Pokémon, but I’m enjoying it so far.
The actual Pokémon are my favorite part of it. As a competitive player, I can say with certainty that this will be one of the best generations for VGC. So many Pokémon have so much potential, and some have already been banned from OU, which is NUTS!

the game looks great, i haven't played it but all of the pokemon look awesome! i'm kinda sad that we didn't get better evolutions for the starters but they look cute!

even though Sprigatito ended up being bipedal, I actually think Meowscarada is pretty cool, Skeledirge is super cool, not too fond of Quaxly’s final evo though

there are some other really epic Pokémon, I really like Maushold, Bellibolt, and Tinkaton, Maushold is creative, Bellibolt is adorable, and Tinkaton is just badass, there are a lot of creative, cute, and fun Pokémon this generation, I can’t really think of any more examples, but even that creepy tumbleweed has grown on me

I picked Skeledirge and can agree Quaxly's final evo sucks. Quaxly is the best part of that line
