rant on "wrong" design in the comments

Recently I saw an adopt in deviantart and I didn't recognize the species of, so I researched it and I found the design guideline from the creator. And they pointed out a vibrant design with a lot of colors and said it was "wrong"

I understand wanting people to make mainly "natural" looking characters with your species, but no design is "wrong" I've been designing furry characters for like what? 2 years now? and it just pisses me off when people say that people's designs are "too much" or "too basic" and the like. And especially irritates me when a design is "wrong" - f**k that.

Design your characters however the hell you want. Art and creativity have no limits. Don't let some dumbass tell you that your designs are "wrong" No fursona is too much or too basic or stupid or objectively bad.

Mind you, I think that criticism can be helpful and I'm not against giving artists design advice or commenting negatively or positively on their art, but 𝙉𝙊 𝘿𝙍𝘼𝙒𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙄𝙎 𝙒𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙂

Personally, I like more naturalistic colorings, but I know that a lot of people like using different colors on theirs. That is 100% okay with me and just because something isn't exactly the color you want it to be doesn't mean its wrong. I haven't made any species, but what I do understand is that species templates are just that, blank templates. The artist adds the color and the personality to that template. The person who made that template can't just say "you can't use the color green on this template" or something stupid like that, and honestly, if someone does that, I would advise to break that rule. Art is in the eye of the beholder, not in the will of the original creator.

**after looking around more I saw that the creator said that they don't care anymore and say that people can use whatever colors they want, but this still applies to anyone who says this kind of stuff and it still pisses me off
