While the stickmen were advancing quicker than normal civilizations, there was another civilization called the octo-sticks, which were initially able to survive the vaccum of space, but they couldn't go warp -speed without a warp-speed jet. they did have their own spaceships but they couldn't go warp speed with them, so they would have to steal a warp speed crystal from the stickmen. luckily for them they had other technology such as teleporters and invisibility cloaks, they sent out a scout one day to sneak into a stickmen laboratory and steal most of the warp speed crystals, it worked. but the success was temporary as the stickmen working there noticed their warp speed crystal supply was shortened the next day. They had to get Redi to help with this, and so he went back in time to find that it was an octo-stick that had stolen it. Octo-sticks were a well known myth in the stickmen community, several claiming to have saw one steal something from them. Redi was fed up about this and went back to the present to start a war against the octo-sticks. Since both sides have warp speed crystals the battle would be a 50/50 chance of each side winning. BUT, the stickmen have something the octo-sticks don't, Redi. 7 months into battle and already 860 galaxies claimed by the octo-sticks now belong to the stickmen. while the octo-sticks claimed only 500 stickmen galaxies (the octo-sticks aren't as smart as the stickmen)... it's been 50 years of long battles, 600 octo-stick galaxy clusters belong to the stickmen, and the stickmen lost 150 galaxy clusters to the octo-sticks. after all of this, the octo-sticks finally surrender, swearing never to mess with the stickmen again.
