Seerstriker redemption moment

Seaweed- *hides in a bush and watches from a far*

*the icewing starts talking, more yelling than talking actually, which even surprised her**

???: what do you mean you failed? That’s what you wanted wasn’t it?

Seerstriker: ..

Stormbringer: if you don’t tell them, I will.

Seerstriker: … I kidnapped Stormbringer in the hopes he could talk some sense into that deranged psychopathic imbecile. At the very least try to make him reconsider war.

*the rainwing spoke now, they sounded more confused*

????: … did something happen to this strange Nightwing or is she just playing mind games? I swear she’s less crazy than before.

Stormbringer: *shrugs* I don’t know, she still thinks I can read minds, which is why she thought of this plan in the first place. I knew it wasn’t going to work yet she kept insisting it would.

Seaweed- *steps on a stick and it makes a large crack noise*

*the three dragonets stayed focused on Stormbringer and Seerstriker, only the skywing turned around. Seerstriker had glanced over but didn’t do anything else*

*the icewing speaks*

???: let him go!

Seerstriker: not a chance, I still have time to stop this. My chances might not be great, but it’s worth a shot.

Stormbringer: it’s just going to bring us both under the “Darkstalker’s friend” spell and get us killed. And personally, I don’t want to be even near Darkstalker.

*the rainwing speaks now*

????: Stormbringer’s right, it’s not a good idea. We need to find another way.

Stormbringer: thanks Cascade.

Cascade: how did this even happen anyway.

???: long story.. not right now.

Seaweed- hmm so the rainwings name is cascade... interesting. *Peeks out from the bush*

*the skywing moves to Seerstriker’s side to prevent an escape.*

????: we really don’t want to hurt you, we just don’t want Stormbringer to be near Darkstalker, and it doesn’t sound like he wants to be either. Especially with the spell that makes everyone around him want to be his friend.

Seerstriker: I learned of that two days ago, it’s still worth a try.

Stormbringer: I really don’t, please. Just let me go.

Seerstriker: no. *whispering* Besides, I foresee his downfall, you’ll help me become queen, or I’ll hand the power over to you.

Seaweed- A new queen...hmmm this will be interesting for the nightwings and for the other tribes...*continues to watch*

Stormbringer: I’m not helping you. Especially not after this.

Cascade: *growling now, she turns red* let him go.

Seaweed- *tries to come out of the bush silently and go to a different gush to get a closer look*

Seerstriker: on one condition, you have to tell the truth. Can you read minds or not?

Stormbringer: I’ve told you many times I can’t. Let me go.

Seerstriker: one more time, yes or no?

*Cascade actually turns a little green for a second*

Stormbringer: .. no.

*Seerstriker releases Stormbringer, who then runs back to his friends in pain. He was moving slower due to earlier injuries and stab wounds*

Seaweed- this will be interesting... *being curious and throws a rock at one of them*

*it missed the Skywing*

????: .. *she stays focused on Seerstriker*

???: are you alright?

Stormbringer: better now.

*Seerstriker takes one last look at Stormbringer before taking to the skies.*

Seaweed- hmmm how would I be able to get there attention? Whatever I'm just going to go say hi cause I want to help. *Walks out of the bush towards them slowly*

???: alright, I’m going to find whoever through this rock at me. I have a feeling the would.. *they see you and throw it at you*

Seaweed- *dodges it* what the heck!?

????: Inferna!

Inferna: what? *the small skywing looked a little annoyed* They threw it at me first.

????: this isn’t a good time to act childish.

Cascade: Blizzard is right, we should get back to the rainforest so we can get someone to make sure Stormbringer’s wounds aren’t infected.

Seaweed- can I come with you guys I want to help!

Inferna: … alright. But first, *she reaches into a bag she was carrying and pulls out a few bandages* Let’s get these bandages on Stormbringer.

Seaweed- ok.

*after bandaging some of the wounds Stormbringer had, the 5 of you flew off towards the rainforest*

Stormbringer: I’m surprised you guys didn’t find us sooner, we were walking in the forest for like 7 or 8 days straight.

Blizzard: well, we didn’t have Cascade with us initially.

Cascade: I had no idea you had been kidnapped, the moment I heard you were I was flying around the forest trying to find you.

Seaweed- hmmm?

Stormbringer: you know that weird tall Nightwing that was holding me hostage? I’m assuming you saw that given the fact you are here.

Seaweed- yes I saw it...the majority of it at least.

Stormbringer: they somehow managed to overpower both me and Blizzard and kidnap me.

Seaweed- that's weak.

Blizzard: I’m surprised she didn’t just kill me, given that most nightwings and Icewings hate each other.

Stormbringer: I haven’t been in a fight in ages so I was out of practice..

Seaweed- yeah...

Cascade: we should get Storm back to the rainforest.

Blizzard: Inferna, can you fly ahead to check on Stardust? Make sure she didn’t try to go after Darkstalker or something?

Inferna: yep. *she took off and began flying east as fast as her wings could carry her*

Aries- so what's it like being a rainwings cause I've always wondered what it is like.

Seaweed*

Cascade: I really don’t think you want to go through what we just went through during the last year of the war, other than that, it’s nice.

Seaweed- yeah...I'm glad I found a secret place to hide from everything.

Stormbringer: a bush is a very secret place, yes.

Blizzard: Stormbringer..

Stormbringer: what? I’m just joking.

Seaweed- well the bush seemed to work decently well but it's a cave underwater...well to enter it you have to go underwater.

Cascade: makes sense, you are a seawing after all.

Stormbringer: we should get going.

Blizzard: everyone ready?

Seaweed- yep I'm ready!

Cascade: let’s go then.

*Stormbringer takes off first, followed by Cascade and Blizzard*

Seaweed- wait for me! *Takes off*

*Stormbringer was actually dozing off, Blizzard kept waking him up, but he must have fallen asleep while gliding several times, as a result, both Cascade and Blizzard were pretty much guiding him*

Seaweed- so how can I help you guys? Like I want to help with the war and try to stop it or something.

Blizzard: we’d have to come up with a way to stop him first. That crazy dragon wanted to get Stormbringer to talk to talk to Darkstalker to try to stop it. If I know anything about the Darkstalker legend, diplomacy, or even other ideas his own nightwing tribe, isn’t going to work.

Seaweed- ohh ok. And just to warn you guys I can be very impulsive at times...just so you know.

Cascade: that’s ok.

Seaweed- ok cause a lot of dragons don't like me cause of it because I never tell them before.

Blizzard: …

Cascade: I can see why they would be angry..

Seaweed- yeah.

*the four of you flew on into the rainforest, Cascade took the lead to guide you*

Seaweed- wow look at all the plants...*looks at the forest with astonishment*

*Its almost nightfall, the sun begins to set*

Cascade: almost there..

Blizzard: mhmm..

Seaweed- ooo cool.

* the four of you fly into a rainwing village, Cascade and Stormbringer land first*

Seaweed- *lands behind them* ooo this place is very pretty.

Blizzard: it really is..

Cascade: let’s find Stormbringer a hammock or something before he falls asleep again.

Seaweed- ok. I'm just going to follow you guys cause I get lost easily.

Cascade: good idea.

*after some time searching, Cascade does end up finding several hammocks on the lower platforms, Stormbringer was too tired to even try getting in one of them.*

Seaweed- *yawns* great now I'm getting tired as well.

*Stormbringer just collapsed on the platform*

Cascade: well, I guess we have an open hammock..

Blizzard: you guys could fight for it..

Seaweed- no it's fine I can sleep anywhere I could really careless.

Cascade: you sure?

*Blizzard lied down next to Stormbringer*

Seaweed- yeah of course. I'm more used to sleeping on the ground anyway.

Cascade: alright then.. *she takes the hammock and quickly falls asleep, Blizzard is now the only one awake*

Seaweed- if you don't mind I'm going to sleep right here. *Lied down next to blizzard*

Blizzard: that’s ok..

Seaweed- ok thanks... well good night. *Begins to fall asleep*

*Blizzaed had finally begun to fall asleep as well, though she wanted to keep watch*

Seaweed- *had fallen asleep*

*Blizzard was now asleep, she had her wing over Stormbringer like she was protecting him, meanwhile Seerstriker was back, and talking to Stormbringer, who looks like he just woke up as well*

*they were both whispering*

Seerstriker: —I said I was-

Stormbringer: sorry doesn’t even begin to cut it. I don’t care, this is the third time you’ve kidnapped me, I don’t care what you have to say.

Seerstriker: I thought you would be the Nightwing to save our tribe, and now the world. You have to—

Stormbringer: I don’t understand, first you tell me you want to use me for your personal gain, to use me to become queen. Now you’re telling me I was going to save the world by you kidnapping me and telling me I need to speak with a dragon to stop a war. I didn’t even need to see the future to know how that would end.

Seerstriker: I.. was wrong.. another some of the dragonets at Jade Mountain Academy have the best chance… not you.

Stormbringer: and you know this how?

*Seerstriker scoffs*

Seerstriker: you and I were part of an experiment to see if we could finally regain our powers. I was granted the ability to read the future, I couldn’t do it very well though… *she sounded angry at him now*. And for the record, I know you can read minds, that experiment is how I know. However, I will not bother you anymore in the near future, to show I will keep my word. I do not intend to use you for such purposes either now. I will find a way to make it up to you brother. *Stormbringer looked confused when she said that* I must say however, I don’t approve of you being around Icewings and rainwings.

*Stormbringer looked at her confused and a little angry when she took off, he still looked tired, like he had just been forcefully woken up, he tried to find comfort in being near Blizzard, but only his tiredness drew him back on the brink of falling asleep*

Seaweed- hmmm. *Looks over at stormbringer then in the direction of seerstriker*

*Seerstriker was pretty much gone by the time you looked back, Stormbringer was quickly falling back asleep from sheer tiredness*

Seaweed- interesting...I wonder how I could help this situation...*sighs and goes back to sleep*

*everyone slept till morning besides Stormbringer, he was still asleep when everyone else woke up*

Seaweed- *yawns and stretches her wings* alright I'm ready to do stuff! And... stormbringer is still asleep.

Cascade: hey did you hear the weird conversation last night between Stormbringer and the weird Nightwing? Blizzard said she didn’t hear it, which is unusual, so I thought I was just hearing things.

Seaweed- I heard it as well... It was... interesting. And I did hear what I think was most of it.

Cascade: So it did happen.. Blizzard how did you not wake up?

Blizzard: I.. don’t know.

Seaweed- I'm usually a heavy sleeper but for the past few months I have woken up many times during the night.

Cascade: you and Blizzard are complete opposites then. The same thing happens to her in reverse.

Blizzard: you kind of needed to be a light sleeper where I grew up.

Seaweed- ohh ok. *Stomach growls* I'm kinda hungry as well.

Cascade: follow me, I need to gather fruit anyways.

Seaweed- ok.

*Cascade takes off to search for some food*

Seaweed- *takes off and follows cascade*

*You and Cascade fly through the forest, eventually you find an area with a lot of fruit*

Seaweed- ooh wow look at all the fruit!

Cascade: take what you want, but I need to bring some of this back with me. *she flies up and grabs some of the large leaves in the trees, she then uses them to make a bag to carry the fruit in*

Seaweed- ok... *Grabs a mango and a fire pear* these look tasty.

(Idk what a fire pear is lol)

Cascade: *she picks a couple of mangos, bananas, and some other fruit as well and places them in the bag she made. She eats one mango she picked*

Seaweed- *eats a mango*

Cascade: I should go take these back.

(oh ok)
Seaweed- ok I will follow you.

*you fly back to Blizzard and Stormbringer carrying fruit, they appeared to be having a conversation until you approached them*

Blizzard: it was more of a nightmare rather than a-.. oh hey guys.

Stormbringer: oh hey, you brought fruit.

Cascade: yep. What were you talking about?

Blizzard: umm.. it was nothing.

Stormbringer: yeah, it really doesn’t matter right now.

*Cascade looked mildly confused at Stormbringer, I guess he’s never really kept secrets from her unless they were very important or another dragon asked him not to*

Cascade: ok..? *her scales turning a light palish green in her confusion*

Stormbringer: look, Blizzard says you heard the conversation between me and Seerstriker last night?

Cascade: I did.. so is someone else going to stop Darkstalker?

Stormbringer: we better come up with a backup plan incase theirs doesn’t work.

Cascade: well, you guys have ideas?

Blizzard: … I’m baffled honestly, there’s no direct way to kill him or make him fall asleep again, and personally I’m more in favor of the permanent solution.

Stormbringer: we know we can’t get him to use his own magic on himself, especially in that fashion. Do you think part of the scroll survived or maybe he has another one somewhere?

Blizzard: him having another one is unlikely, that would just give someone the opportunity to use it against him. He was smart enough to know that might happen. A portion of the already existing scroll makes more sense, but even the odds of that are extremely low. There might be small pieces left but they might not be large enough to write anything on.
