People who drown and get brought back are, scientifically speaking, dead until they are resuscitated.
And people who suffer a cardiac arrest but get resuscitated are the same.
So there :P
Scientifically speaking are those rescued from drowning are close to death not really dead but. Their heart stop beating in that time it takes for people to rescue them but their body is still intact.
We say they die in our language but youre right about it isnt the same way as humans die, Humans and electric devices/transport and others are different but we still say "→My Laptop died← yesterday, while I was studying" like we say "→Harold died← yesterday while he was watching TV"
And not all characters are in video games. An actor can "die" in a movie and star in another movie and "die" in that one too. Phones don't actually die and neither do the actors.
There is a HUGE difference like We say my phone died and yes you also say people die in movies and acts but its →acting← which means to pretend (Pretending to die under an appointment with others in this case).
