I see guitar meme I upvote. Hopefully ur not choosing ur instrument solely by weight but whatever. I’d never get another gtar that didn’t have a bolt on neck because using shims under the neck is integral to lowering the string action and making guitars easy to play. Also if your using distortion, get a rig with humbuckers! I’m using a strat shape body, tele neck, and emg4s!

Only use shims if the saddles don't adjust low enough.
