okokok, so mom was telling me about how two of her friends dressed up as peanut butter and jelly containers with clocks on them
now bear with me here, the adults in my town like to do their costumes as puns, so obviously i had to explain to my mom that's not how you dress up for peanut butter jelly time, and her exact words were "I know you need the banana costume, i saw the family guy episode."
this triggered me, knowing I was more cultured in internet times than my mother despite her argument being "because Im older and wiser" so THEN i had to explain to her where the dancing banana originated from, and she about slapped me with a wooden spatula.
