my mom has a ton of exes, one is my father and he's pretty chill, one of them we lost contact with but he was really cool, one of them is a gigantic narcissist who will not let her go ( the person who messaged her) and one who is a transphobe, old fashioned, and totally cut her off a while back.
And those are just the ones I've met :/
( sorry if that's a lot, just had a really rough day )

So my mom has a really bad ex that was really controlling, and was really rude to her all the time. He's really narcissistic, And my mom broke up with him a while back. Ever since then, he's been trying to get back with her, with the most narcissistic apologies that I've ever seen. While I was with her at work today though, he texted her asking if she could go to a Halloween party with him. Ruined pretty much the rest of Halloween by even mentioning himself.

Ugh. I hope it gets better mate
