Coraso: What? Look, I hate King Spade and his orders too, but truth is, Lightner, i can’t do the opposite of what he says or I’ll be killed. I already was a traitor to him once, when the Knight first came around.

Coraso: If I am executed because I didn’t kill you, you’ll probably be killed by someone else. So, yes.

Coraso: Don’t tell anyone I said this, but the other girl, Spade, has an absolute crush on Rouxls for some reason, so Spade does what she can to not get Rouxls to hate her like he hates almost anything else.

*They pull a cup of tea from seemingly out of nowhere*

So I stopped and I tried to fight back and I went to go hide in the closet but I ended up here
