I get what you're saying, but cap never killed Tony. Cap tried to refrain from killing at all in most circumstances. The only time we specifically hear him talk about killing someone, it was Thanos, which is completely warranted. This man was lying helpless in front of John, begging for his life, and he didn't stop. That combined with having dozens of witnesses certainly didn't help his case. Those people didn't know that guy was a terrorist. All they saw was captain America killing a man.

That because Tony is his friend and he felt like retard for telling truth how tiny father dies so cap fill like he has no right to piss a Tony and he could avoided this civil war by reeling Tony truth so Tony wrath will be directed as zemo not bucky. Also walker kill the guy that try to kill him and their surrounded by civilian meaning terrorists take one of them hostage

innocent ppl, but when cap did it it was against his good friend. So why was it unacceptable when john walker did the same thing
0 ups, 2y
He didn’t do the same thing tho
Cap didn’t move to kill, just to make it so he and Buck could get away. Walker’s only intent was to kill the nearest person.
The shield was a symbol of protection, that defended those in danger. Walker twisted it’s purpose from protecting life, to ending it.
That’s why I hate him for that.

Ye but the other guy is also a LITERALLY terrorist, does it really matter if he killed his friend or not? Like that guy killed multiple innocent ppl in a bombing
0 ups, 2y
He didn’t kill Lamar.
Karli did on accident
Just because they were terrorists doesn’t make what he did better.
In rage he literally killed the closest person.

also, he wasnt rude to bucky and sam, they were rude to him first
1 up, 2y
He was condescending from the get-go
“I’m Captain America” is how he’d introduce himself and he expected people to immediately respect him like they did Steve.
“Kinda the government”
“Captain America’s wingmen”
Also the whole point of him bailing out Bucky was to show off his power
He believed the suit made the man when it's the man who makes the man
“DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!?" and he was mad when the guy said he did but didn't care.
Steve would always introduce himself as Steve Rogers, not Captain America.
He didn't earn the respect like Steve had yet he still expected to receive the same respect just because he had the title

also, it wasn't his fault that he was chosen as new cap; it was the governments fault, so sam and bucky couldve realized that
0 ups, 2y
Also Walker is a LOT worse in the comics
He may not have made the choice to be Cap but he did make every choice he made after that.
Sam and Bucky had the experience that he didn’t yet he acted like he was on their level perhaps even higher up.
He expected respect that he hadn’t yet earned. He was obnoxious and arrogant.

1st off: no the guy Walker killed did NOT kill Lamar that was Karli. Walker just killed the closest guy and then lied to Lamar’s parents that he was the 1 who killed him. 2nd: Cap didn’t kill Tony. He simply broke his arc reactor to allow himself and Bucky to have time to leave.
Cap would never just kill in cold blood and in a fit of rage like that. Walker did. And the brutality of the act as well. He is exactly the kind of person Erskine never wanted to get the serum. I already didn’t like him because he was rude, arrogant, and egotistical.
That act stained the Shield which is meant to be a symbol of defense, protection.
Now, it is a blood stained murder weapon.
