Amyraldianism is a type of four-point Calvinism where the order of election is essentially as follows:
God determines that Christ will die a generally redemptive death. (General Redemption)
God sees that no human, being totally depraved, will by faith be united to Christ to receive that redemption. (Total Depravity)
God chooses some of those totally depraved humans for salvation. (Unconditional Election)
In time, God draws those chosen to himself, (Irresistible Grace)
and preserves them in the faith until their death. (Perseverance of the Saints)
