is Anubis a furry because he's a animal with human attributes (even though he was invented far before the idea of furries were even created? also, that was not intended for sonic's design. his design was supposed to resemble that of a cartoon character or a mascot because the games were targetted towards children, and children at the time found cartoonish animals attractive (not in a sexual sense, but it was more pleasing for them)
