I don't understand, you'd be thought a fool to say a rooster can be a hen and vice versa (although there's is a rare occurence in which a hen might start crowing like a rooster and grow a larger waddle because of a hormone imbalance but no one will claim the first rooster in history has laid an egg. There's no record of a rooster turning into a hen and laying eggs, although i suppose you could remove his waddle and claim he's a hen, no amount of brooding will get him to lay an egg.

I think because saying that in a certain context seems ignorant to the reason why a person transitions and can feel like mocking or an insult.

What is ignorant about acknowledging the fact that only females can do certain things biologically and only males can do certain things and that you can't change between the two?
