My theory is that I used up a lot of my good luck that I had for the past few weeks, leaving me with extreme bad luck to counteract the effects.
What happened over the past few weeks before the bad luck started:
-Got to play a bunch of games I never played before
-Was doing okay in school
-Could talk to you guys when things were pretty much normal, and could vent if things were bad
-Got to go to a Halloween store twice
-Had a three-day weekend.
But after that last event, things started to go downhill:
-First, the school I go to threatened to ban cell phones (some of the reasons I can get, others just sound ridiculous).
-Next, one of the family pets died (RIP Pumpkin).
-The next day, all the people I cared about started acting like total dipwads.
-But then I have a day that turned out okay, and I thought I was finally getting a break from being the cosmos's punching bag.
-But then I had to redo something I spent way too much time on. (And with a fat chance that I could get it done before the semester is over)
-Caught a break over the weekend, but now today, I have a sore throat that's so bad it actually hurts to speak.
The timing for the events could've been coincidence, but at this point, I don't think so anymore. The only solutions I have for the bad luck (at this rate, anyway) are to either give up on trying to at least improve my luck, or try to power through the bad luck and hope for the best.
