Only single track running now?

yep took the other track out 3 years ago.

I never understand how that's worth the money. Is the metal really so valuable to be worth the cost of people and equipment to take it up?!

Are they just used for freight? Most of the lines over here are used for passenger as well as freight traffic. (Can you tell that I'm bit of a rail enthusiast?!)
