There is magic forms of communicating like calling stones (work like magic phones but- are stones- and use magic passcodes instead of phone numbers. There is no way to call any law enforcement with them)

Unless your character is a time traveler they cant have technology because of that fact! The Queen, a.k.a. Corona Antao is NOT someone you want to be wanted by!!! Shes a very crappy queen- and very powerful—
