Allah gives every individual soul the same gambit:
1) do not take teh gambit. Since you said Allah is the lord, youre good in his book. you will become what we call angels
2) take the gambit. If you wanna be BETTER than angels, you can be placed into a world with one goal: obey Allah. If you maintain that goal throughout life, you can be in the best place in the universe (heaven). But if you fail, youre f**ked, and you get eternal damnation (hell). These mfs become either a human or a jinn
