Facts about her:

Her name is Ophelia
It is about 16 years old
They use any pronouns, but mostly prefers She/They/It pronouns (please respect they’re pronouns)
Ophelia has a pet snake named Damien (the snake in the picture), who is probably her only friend.
They are Bisexual, but they like women more
Ophelia grew up in the woods, where this roleplay takes place. They love the outdoors and flowers, but they also don’t like when people litter in the forest.

I’m Mako, and I’m just on a camping trip. Is that a pet snake?

*her eyes stayed shut, and the snake on her shoulder began to hiss*

Ophelia: “Very nice to meet you Mako.”

*sighs* I’d pet the snake but I’m afraid of them

Ophelia: “You could pet Damien if you want, he won’t bite”

*The snake hissed a bit, still staying on the girl’s shoulder.*

*scaredly pets him* *whispers* nice snake

*The snake stayed still, letting you pet it. It stared into your eyes, it’s tongue flicking in and out of its mouth*

Ophelia: *she smiled a little* “I told you he wouldn’t bite..”

(That was close) what are you doing out here?

Ophelia: “I live out here, and I am currently trying to find some wood for the fireplace. We wouldn’t want to freeze tonight, now, would we?”

You… *looks around* live here?

Ophelia: “of course I do, Mako”

Of course? You didn’t look like you lived here

Ophelia: *she smiled a little* “well, my cabin is a while from here”

Cool… take me there

Ophelia: “hm, why should I?”

It’s not like imma burn the place down don’t worry you’ll be ok

Ophelia: *she thought about it for a moment, then nodded* “fine”

Well then let’s go

Ophelia: *she nodded once again, then started walking* “this way”

*few minutes later* this place looks cool

Ophelia: *she nodded a little* “thank you”

[A cabin made out of wood comes into view, Flowers, leaves and seashells would decorate the windows, and in front of the door would be a ‘Welcome’ doormat]

Where did you find this stuff?

Ophelia: “The flowers and leaves are from the ground, and the seashells, Damien found them I believe.”

And the mat?

Ophelia: “the store, of course!”

Where do you get money?

Ophelia: “I visit town, and I work part time of course!”

*The snake kept hissing, as it slithered down Ophelia’s arm, then went to the front door, still hissing*

What kind of snake is damien anyway?

Ophelia: “He’s a tiger snake, I believe.”

Oh wait no he’s an albino snake

Ophelia: “Albino snake?”

Yea I looked it up one time

Ophelia: “huh, okay then”

Actually I might have seen him before while I was walking around here

Ophelia: “huh, maybe you did, he does like to go on walks by himself at times.”

Can I go in the cabin?

Ophelia p: *she nods as she opens the cabin door* “Of course you can,”

*goes inside* this is the nicest cabin I’ve ever seen

Ophelia: *she closed the door, not wanting bugs to get inside. They smiled* “Why, Thank you, Mako.”

I’ve been looking for a place to stay that’s why I was in the forest

Ophelia: “oh, you can stay if you want, I’ve got an extra room anyway.”

Oh cool imma go get my stuff

*They would nod*

Ophelia: “okay”

*leaves then comes back with a suitcase*

Ophelia: ?

This is my stuff *snake gets on suitcase* *startled* whoa! Oh…

Ophelia: “oh okay-“

*Damien would be slithering on the suitcase, wondering what was inside. He almost seemed… curious?*

Just don’t eat my food *opens suitcase*

*Damien would tilt his head, after hearing the word ‘food’*

Ophelia: *she gently picked up her snake*

He’s hungry isn’t he?

Ophelia: “He probably is”

Well… I have some bear jerky I made myself

Ophelia: “Oh, maybe that’s why he was trying to get to your suitcase”

*takes it out* here you little guy *holds out the jerky*

*Damien would sniff the jerky, as if wondering what it was,*

It’s bear jerky… you like it?

*Damien would keep sniffing the jerky, then he would slowly nod*

Here take a bite

*Damien nodded slowly once again, looked at the jerky, and slowly took a bite of it*

It’s good right?

*Damien would nod as he bit into more of the jerky*

Ophelia: “yeah, he does seem to like it”

Does anyone ever visit or are just alone here?

Ophelia: “people sometimes visit the forest to camp here, but they always leave behind trash.. but besides campers and hikers coming here, no..”

I could bring my friends over if you want

Ophelia: “You can bring them over, I’m fine with that.”

Ok… where’s that extra room you said you had

Ophelia: *she turned and pointed to a door that had a big bright blue flower on it*

“Right there, dear”

Thanks *walks to the room*

“Your welcome dear”

*The room would have a huge bed that could fit maybe 3 people, a bookcase full of some books, vases full of exotic flowers, a wooden closet, a window that had a view of the moon and the trees, and some beads that were sewn into beautiful patterns were hung around the room*

Oh my god… this is so cool

*Damien would slither into the room right behind you, and hiss softly*

*startled* didn’t see you there

*Damien would look at you, his red eyes glowing slightly. He would continue to hiss at you softly*

Heh… your not like any other snake are you *bends down*

*Damien slowly shook his head, as if saying “of course I’m not” *

*smiles and pets him* hey you got any food?!

Ophelia: “Mhm! I got steak!”

*Damiens head would rise a little when he heard the word ‘steak’ *

You like steak don’t you? To you: can we have some?

Ophelia: “Of course! Let me make some right now, so just give me… a couple of minutes okay?”

Ok *goes to room*

*Damien would continue to slither around the room, softly hissing. His white scales would glow from the moonlight that was coming from the window, his red eyes would also glow, only very little.*

Hey where’s the light switch?

*Damien would look around the room, then he would slither over near one of the beaded designs, and look at the light switch. He’d look back at Mako, and hiss softly*

Oh thanks… *flips switch*

*Damien would slowly nod, and hiss. It almost sounded like he had said “Your welcome” *

You can talk! Kinda…

*Damien would tilt his head, still softly hissing*

Hey is there a clock here?!

*Damien would slither over to the closet, somehow open it, and rummage through it. After rummaging through it, he’d have some type of alarm clock in his mouth*

How did you… *grabs clock* 9:45… ok. Hey how’s that steak going?

Ophelia: “oh-it’s almost done!”

Are you outside or in the kitchen?!

Ophelia: “I’m in the kitchen!”

*walks to kitchen* smells amazing!

Ophelia: “thank you, dear”

Ophelia: “what’s the question?”

Ophelia: “yes? Why?”

Ok *takes out phone and eyes the steak so it doesn’t burn*

*Damien would slither into the room, softly hissing, while eyeing the steak*

*whispers* thanks

Ophelia: “mhm”

Ophelia: “yeah, just hand the phone over or something-“

*hands you the phone*

Ophelia: *she took the phone, and started typing. After a minute, she handed it back to you* “there you go, dear.”

“Dear”? You a mom?

*she laughed a little*
Ophelia: “hah, sorry, it’s just what I call almost everyone.”

Ophelia: “mhm, well, I should finish cooking the steak”

Ophelia: *she nodded, then turned her full attention to the steak that was cooking*

*Damien kept hissing, now staring at Mako*

Hmm I wonder *holds out hand to Mako*

*Damien looked at your hand, and his head would tilt*

*puts hand closer towards him*

*Damien would continue to stare at your hand, not knowing what to do*

Come on, climb on

*Damien stared at you arm for another minute, then he would slowly slither onto it, still hissing*

*shivers slowly worrying he’ll bite*

*Damien would stay on your hand, slithering up your arm, softly hissing and tilting his head a little*

*still shivering*

*Damien would slither into your shoulder, still hissing a little. It stayed still on your shoulder, not trying to seem scary to you*

*stops shivering* Damien’s really friendly

Ophelia: “yeah, he is”

Steak done?

Ophelia: “yep!”

*Damien raised his head, looking pretty excited that the steak was ready*

*pets Damien* let’s eat!

Ophelia: “mhm!” *she set down 2 plates of steak on a wooden table, and she would set tone more plate in front of Damien, who had already slithered down your arm and was now on the floor, ready to eat.*

*cuts a piece off with his knife and eats it* mmm!

*Damien would look at the steak on his plate, then he would dive in, eating the steak in 2 bites.*

*Ophelia would cut a piece off with their knife, and would take a bite, smiling a little*

Jesus! Damien has an appetite

Ophelia: “haha, yeah, he does”

This is good

Ophelia: *she would smile* “Thank you”

*eats the rest of it* I’m stuffed

Ophelia: *she took the dishes and went to the sink* “Maybe you should rest, it’s really late”

It’s only 10:00 what are you talking about *looks at watch* oh

Ophelia: “mhm, go get some rest.”

*Damien slithered away, going to the guest room.*

*walks to room and lays in bed*

*The room was still and quiet. Damien would be in the corner, looking around the room, his red eyes shining a little in the darkness. Perhaps he was keeping watch over Mako.*

*falls asleep*

[Daytime soon rolled around. The sunlight would peek through the window in the guest room, shining onto Makos face. It was 10:05 AM currently]

*wakes up* mmm… what time is it? *stretches*

*Damien sat in the corner, sleeping. He was softly hissing in his sleep, but he seemed calm*

*looks at watch* 10:05! Man I slept late (wonder if Ophelia’s up)

*Ophelia could be seen outside from the window, sitting under a tree, her eyes would be closed. She was either napping, or was just taking in the beauty of the forest*

Hey Damien, you wanna go see Ophelia?

*Damien would open one of his red eyes to look at you.*

*walks up to him and holds out palm* climb on

*Damien would nod slightly, then he would slither onto your arm, hissing*

*walks outside* mornin Ophelia!

Ophelia: *she looked in Mako’s direction, her eyes still closed* “Good morning, Mako and Damien!”

*Damien continued hissing softly, while turning his head to look at the trees and flowers*

Ophelia: *she nodded as she held out her arm* “come here, Damien dear” *Damien slithered down your arm and slithered onto Ophelia’s arm*

It feels weird when he slithers down
