It got so mixed through Cross breeding that one day, when the proto human fell asleep against a tree, they evolved to not only give birth to live young, cutting the hatching progress, but gave them only one form, that changes. With evolution, the humans of pokemon are by our standards, not human, as they have a different ancestry. That's how pokemon are able to understand humans so well, and how some Pokemon are able to learn human speech.
