Elder mellinial here. Youngest of my generation is 26 oldest is 40. I don't know any male over 30 that can't drive a manual. Bonus a lot of us have driven ratchet shifters and 3 in tree transmissions. Think it's more of a country/city thing.

I want a stick shift

I have one. It's aggravating at times needing both hands free to drive or having to clutch after leg day at the gym.

My father learned how to drive on a stick shift. He learned it on my grandfather’s Buick from the 60’s I think.
