Ok, I’ll be counting votes on your first comment. Also protogens do exist, if your talking about from your own lore, but I think you are talking about the primagen. That is the precursor of protogens and it is strictly a closed species. If your thinking of making a sub-class to protogens themselves, I’ll probably need more info, those are the only 2 I know of.

It’s just a normal protogen with combat mods then? Because they all have different personalities. Protogens are 40% organic and still need food to function, they aren’t droids, neither are primagens.

adaptiods are not a type of protogen, adaptiods are manufactured by solace interstellar corporations and use a telepathic code to communicate. they are silent yet sentient. their uses are for military purposes and would rather work without humans. however due to them not having the proper knowledge of self repair, it is advised to have a human combat mechanic. (Roland is one example of a combat mechanic before he ranked up within the expeditionary force). adaptiods have been in longer use than tactigens, first being used as protectors when humanity began the evacuation of earth in 2167. since then they have been used in different planetary conflicts between humans and between other species.
