I was raised in that church but I've kinda lost faith... Still have a ton of respect for members

I'm trying to decide whether to stick with it or leave. I just can't seem to feel anything in terms of confirmation or even comforting from the holy Ghost when I really need it, but I can't really think of a good explanation for Joseph Smith's life without the gospel being true.

I'm glad you really believe it's true, and I hope to be sure one way or the other eventually. My biggest problem is that I can't be sure if a feeling is from the holy ghost or the human brain liking nice ideas, but the former seems more likely in the stuff I have felt. I don't want to deny the spirit if it is there, but I can't just attribute any good feeling I get anymore to it. I need to feel something from church that I don't get from a song hitting hard, but I would say I get stronger feelings from the music I listen to when I'm sad :/

I've got missionaries here lol. My sister is on her mission.

Pennsylvania Philadelphia mission, but she's in NJ right now.

And I still feel that solidarity with members because I know how many misconceptions there are about the church and it's members. I will try to keep an open mind and not block out evidence of the church being true that I may come across, but I feel like at the moment I have tried too hard for no returns.

I missed Saturday for a band competition, and I was only half awake through Sunday :/ I kinda gave up about a month ago, and historically I've done my best to keep up with them.
