The memes were rolling on the screens now. Users submitting images from their homes, and those glorious, glorious site mods above that approved or disapproved each and every one of them. There were people at the Ministry of Humor who produced the best quality memes, which every user in the stream laughed at heartily. He received a new meme from the Ministry of Humor now. (See attached image). How hilarious! He laughed for almost a minute. Glory to the site mods!
It was almost 8:00. Nineteen grabbed his briefcase and headed out the door. He did not want to be late to work. He walked at a leisurely pace to the center of the stream, where memes floated overhead on the screens, and the MSMGSOC banners were draped over a large pyramid. No user dared enter that pyramid, for it was where the site mods lived and worked. None would dare disturb their great works.
Nineteen finally found what he was looking for: A large complex to the left of the pyramid. MSMGSOC flags flew over it. It was a plain, rectangle shape, barely any windows. On it, the letters “MINISTRY OF TRUTH” were written, plainly, in front. People were already walking in. Nineteen made haste and walked through the doors, and up the stairs to the 75th floor, and to the 5th row, 8th cubicle. He sat down at the chair and booted up the computer. The MSMGSOC logo was displayed for a moment, before reading out, “Welcome back, Nineteen_Official!” and the date, “June 28, 2023”. He looked at his checklist of things to do for the day. First of all, the almighty Captain_Scar had said in a speech at the beginning of the month that the Ministry of Distribution would be producing 40 million pounds of cereal and 50 million pounds of bread by the end of June. However, the MinDis had only been able to produce 23 million pounds of cereal and 25 million of bread. Nineteen quickly searched through the records and edited Scar’s speech to say that the MinDis would make 20 million cereal and bread, thus the MinDis had exceeded the quota. He was doing his part to keep MSMG glorious, as it always would. In the MSMGSOC history, Captain_Scar had been the founder, leader, and guardian of MSMG since its earliest days. His exploits dated back to 2020, when MSMG was first formed under his leadership and guidance. It was at the apex of the pyramid that Scar sat.
