As a girl myself, i say just gain her trust, give her some complaints (not about how she looks), and then just pop in the question. It would work on me, anyway.

(I'm a girl) Get into a non-public situation by inviting her over or finding somewhere quiet and then just say something along the lines of "(Name) I've really like-liked you for a while, would you want to go on a date?"

The non-public situation will help her not feel pressured or uncomfortable. Don't tip-toe around or you might get friend-zoned before you can say anything.

BE DIRECT

greet her and compliment her. then tell her you got your advice from a meme website.

Okay. This is a trick into getting what you want or asking someone on a date. Say "Hey you know what _____________?" For example in this senerio... "Hey you know what would be fun?" And then you wait a long time. When they finally say to finish the sentence say "Oh, do you want to go on a date." And they'll probably say yes.
