Loretip:Paragusian Religion
The most common Religion in Verheil, Paragus is based on the belief that the world inhabited by John and other villagers are influenced by the decisions of observer gods in another dimension. These gods can look into John's Dimension, and their favour changes the world as they see fit. However, they cannot look back at these Gods as they exist in a completely different plane of existence above.
Memory, Time and Space are distorted by these gods as they see fit, and noone truly knows what they look like, though some ancient scrolls have attempted to guess their forms over time. Not every god has the same opinions, and some are infinitely older than others or have influence over the other gods.
Originally they lived in isolated tribes, but the original links were forged by the First Spiders, long dead. From these links, the thoughts of the gods were interlinked, and through the construction of new dimensions and universes came the world they exist in. The name of the creator of the world is lost to time, though his name echoes through the names of the blood of the Prime Pyromancers
