Many Northern European or Slavic’s have mapped and written about the North Pole. Norse legends and incredibly boring 1200 century bohemian books to later have geographical value. Was sooo painfully boring but I could find book in folder. Just think of all the Viking settlements under the snow and ice of Greenland.
piris reis map Was Turkish from what I remember and based off older maps. Water lvl was lower previously so it was easier to bounce off island or travel.
