I literally live in the Bible Belt. I am a Christian as well. Even I know that a good part of the Bible is bullshit made up to make the religion seem greater. Every religion does it. In addition to that, creating a whole f**king universe out of empty f**king space sure takes a whole lot more effort than making ONE creature out of what they already had available.

Science and the Bible can coexist, but science needs to come out on top. Science is proven fact, science is tried and tested by dozens of people before we confirm it is real. The Bible, on the other hand, is a bunch of manuscripts written by a bunch of different people thousands of years ago who probably thought a "lizard" was a big dog with tusks on the top of its head that breathed fire and trampled entire villages
