Observate and practice.
Observe someone's artstyle and try to re-create in a similar way (practicing).
Doing so gives you a better notion of shading, perspective, colors and more.

You could either create a routine or find yourself time enough.

DRAW EVERY DAY
use inspo on google, like for example search: "purple cat fursona" if you wana make a purple cat (just dont copy)
practice body and pose sketches
and one i do a LOT...
redraw old art to see your improvement.
If you see how you've improved, you might not think it's bad anymore!
