Its a HEAT round; High Explosive Anti Tank. Its essentially an RPG fired from a mobile platform.

HEAT rounds are also supposed to explode on contact, with a 0.01mm fuze sensitivity, so the fact that a HEAT round can ricochet is bullshit.
