So this pretty much happened yesterday ;-;

So yesterday, I was with my IRL friends during lunch, right? (This was at school btw) and this random kid in the same grade as me (He's either in the same grade, or in the grade above me) came up to us and said "Hey, i think you're really cute and I like you a lot" my friends and i didn't know who he was talking to, so we stayed quiet. Then this dude pointed at me, and said "well, do you like me back?" Keep in mind, I have never MET this dude, AND I DONT KNOW HIM AT ALL. Luckily, Lunch ended right then and I ran to my next class. The reason I didn't say anything about this YESTERDAY was because i was panicking about that boy saying he liked me for the rest of the day ;-;

Any advice on how to break it to him that i don't like him since I'm horrible at that stuff?

Well, I know nothing about dating or whatever- but you should just be honest. It would make the situation 100 times worse if you lied. Just tell him you don't know who he is, and how you aren't interested in him.
