When the right wing make an appeal to potential of life, they suggesting that we prospect for the "good ones." ("They might cure cancer, they might be a president, etc. You know, the 1%) Yet, by not expanding on social welfare for the others, they are inadvertently treating them as rejects. They are also ignoring the potential for having a horrible quality of life which is easily far more common.
