I was the leader of a group and we were doing some project in Science, I think it was on robotics but I don't remember. When I opened the presentation on the night before the due date, I found there were still unfinished slides. I left a note saying "Guys please finish this before tomorrow please" or something like that. It was in all caps, and it was a bit embarrassing.
Presentation day comes, I've forgotten all of that. We do our presentation, and essentially me and one of the other group mates was doing all of the talking. When we got to the next slide, I asked the shy one to speak. She looked confused for a second, and she started reading. Then I looked back, and what do I see? In front of the class and the teacher, my giant note, still there. "Guys please finish this before tomorrow please" or whatever it was. I look back. The teacher looks dissapointed. The class is so confused. I react with instinct and quickly swipe away, but the damage was already done, and enhanced by that instinct. The last slide was just bare bones, and there was hardly any clapping. As we walked back, I whispered to myself, "This is going to be why I fail this class..." and the teacher unexpectedly heard me and said, "Yup, it might be."
Got like a 70 or something, I forgot.
