It would all depend on the presentation.
If you told the flatearther that the pizza was going to rise on itself because your under the impression that there is a invisible force acting upon it that can't be explained. Basically ignoring the self evident ingredients and the methods of heat that are necessary to make the pizza physically rise. This would offend a flatearther, as well if the pizza was just basic cheese.
