Jewish and Christian religions are the only two Abrahamics that don't encourage murdering each other- by that I mean that the Qu'ran instructs its readers to subjugate and slay Christians and Jews.
The fact that Christianity and Judaism do not oppose is visible in that the Torah is literally the Old Testament.
A little religious scholar lesson
Jewish beliefs are almost entirely in line with Christian ones (specifically Catholic just because that particular faith goes back the longest, second only to Eastern Orthodox), up to a certain point. In Judaisim, you read the Torah, which is literally the Bible's old testament. You live by the Laws of Leviticus. This is because the Jews are waiting for their savior. Christians on the other hand, do not live by Leviticus ("Jesus hates gays" is directly contradictory to everything we see about him in the Bible but that's another can of worms)-- that's because Christians believe that their savior has been revealed, and in his coming had "Fulfilled the Laws". That's where they diverge- the birth of Jesus forward is what separates Judaism from pre-Protestant Christianity (there's a lot wrong with a lot of protestant churches).
