So long ago on a planet far away, weird aliens were observing a crystal on a small, nearly lifeless planet. Within growing a strange, mutating creature. Later on the planet exploded, the crystal not shattering, now just floating through space. It slowly morphed into a strange, protogen like creature. It'd eventually crash on a planet (earth? whatever planet Moth's world is) The sheer force shattered the crystal open. Weeks later, the protogen like creature awoke on the strange planet. She took a particular liking to these strange fluffy insects, later learning what they were, moths.
After living in and exploring the forest for more time, soon she came across another person. An explorer, researching the planet's life. The explorer saw the protogen and approached it, when the two met the protogen could hardly speak. They knew little english, only knowing any from observing the life and scraps of text she found. The explorer ended up taking the protogen home. The explorer treated the strange protogen creature as a child, teaching it, taking care of it. When the protogen learned what a moth was, she decided that'd be her name. Years later the protogen, Moth, was fully used to this society. She decided to dedicate herself to art and music, and generally just trying to live casually and happily.

That's the whole story, I should clarify some things
1. idk if it's fully legal, technically it'd make Moth not a protogen but rather a creature mimicking one.
2. It'd also mean Moth's circuitry/visor/robot stuff is actually made of the strange crystal, which I think is awesome but also idk if it's legal
3. I hope this doesn't make me look like someone who wants to be like "special" I just thought the story was cool
4. I haven't decided anything about the explorer
