You should see how humans USED to live like in “the day before yesterday” by Jared Diamond. It’s just basic biology. Used to be war killed one in three adult males and pathetically TINY wars (like 150 vs 150). We are not instinctively different from stone age humans. But we are making progress even if it doesn’t feel that way
