Soyuz 10L had successfully reached orbit. All that was left now was landing. Leonov put on his spacesuit and made sure he looked good for the cameras. "Farewell, comrade." he said to Popovich as he grabbed onto the hatch. "See you in a few hours."
Leonov opened the hatch and stepped out into the universe. The beat up, grey surface of the Moon below him, he slowly made his way to the LK lander. "This isn't very different from EVA near Earth," he said, "But I feel it is more... special."
He made his way into the lander and closed the hatch. Popovich began the decoupling procedures.
