As a diabetic I can thankfully say I get a good night 👍. I don’t get sweet dreams. I might as well sense my blood sugar is usually trough the roof when I wake up.

So if you wake up with your BGL through the roof check one of three things:

1. Your insulin (if you use pen) isn’t expired
2. Your insulin pump isn’t out of insulin (if you use a pump)
3. (Pen) you took your levimir before bed
If none, what did you eat for dinner?

It usually depends on the amount of insulin I do if I have a snack before bed. Honestly, I’d rather go to you then my doctor lol. If I don’t have to wait 1 hour for nothing count me in. (Guessing BGL means blood glucose.)

You do not have to wait an hour! You make sure your blood glucose is level and you should be good. (I’ve had diabetes since I was 4)
