Well, I'm here have fun first, to help the site second, if and when I feel like it. Fun fact: I can come and go as I please, participate in, monitor, keep an eye on any stream or streams on the site I like. I'm here because I want to be.
In general and at the end of day, whether I'm here on Imgflip or not doesn't matter. My role is experimental and could end at anytime, with or without notice. So far so good.
For now I think having the Community Moderators be the owners of MSmg is a good idea. Whether here or anywhere on the site, Stream Owners who break the Terms of Use have been a problem where sitewide Moderators may intervene in various ways. An arkuum type event is not against the Terms of Use, just bad stream ownership.
Sitewide Moderators may intervene where a stream has no active owner, which is what happened recently here and a few times before that. First thing the new ownership did was flip the lights back on. We are getting things running smoothly, thanks for your help with that.
I have no idea what the future holds for ownership of MSmg. I have some ideas that might be good to help facilitate a handoff, but IMO the Stream Owner-Moderator roles would need some functional changes geared towards stability.
