[According to the wiki, Ruv is so used to Sarvente accidentally rolling out of her bed and fall to the floor that even in his sleep, he instinctively reaches over and grabs her before she rolls out whenever they sleep.

So imagine Dust trying to get out of bed, and Ruv just instinctively grabs him and yanks him back in, as his mind says "Sarvente is about to fall out again" and just reaches over to "save" him, accidentally trapping Dust instead. XD]
