A remastered version of a roleplay I did a couple of months ago.

Myself: Oh dear...

*Both are at levels suitable for human survival.*
*Ding.*

*checks if it’s rising*

*Nope. It's stable.*
*More dinging. It seems to be coming from the area near the medkit.*

(Hello?)

*The orbital station explodes.*

"Oh no... hopefully everyone got out..."

"Anyway, better aim for a runway somewhere"

*Before you could finish your sentence, the shuttle speeds up.*

"What the hell? Did something hit the engine?"
*tries to point the ship backwards so it deorbits*

*It doesn't work. The shuttle zooms off into outer space.*

"Okay, I'll stay calm, there's a way out of this..."

"So I'm probably gonna be in an orbit around the sun similar to Earth's, maybe I can use the RCS to adjust it for an encounter?"

???: Maybe.

*silence for a second*
*sigh* "And of course the shuttle's haunted too..."

"Who was that, anyway?"

???: Look over here.

*looks over there*

???: Hey.

"...Hello? I don't remember you from the station..."

???: I usually didn't leave my room, so that makes sense.

“Well, we’re, uh, in a bit of a predicament…”

???: I know.

“Yeah, um, we’re probably out of fuel since the engine was burning out of control for so long…”

*checks supplies*

*Four cans of tomato soup, a medkit, and a spare communicator.*

*checks the expiration date of the tomato soup*

*It doesn't expire for another 40 years.*

*takes the spare communicator and looks out the window to see how far away Earth is so far*

*It's billions of miles away.*

(Rough estimate of how many?)
“Ah crap, well I can try…”
*tries contacting mission control*

(5 billion.)
*No luck.*

“I’m sure Mission Control sees what happened, although I doubt they’d be able to send rescue.”

*checks how much oxygen is left*

*Life support systems (oxygen) are okay.*

"Good. Now we can just wait for our death in at least a month or so."

???: Yep.. what's that machine near the window?

"Which one?"

???: *points at the machine (image)*

"I honestly don't know. Looks like a fire extinguisher."

"Anyway, what's your name?"

???: Do you want my first name, or my entire name?

"Whichever you want, unless your entire name is long."

???: Ah. Well, my name is Valerie Vincent, but you can call me Valerie or Val.

“Okay. So might as well just wait..”

Valerie: Mhmm..
*A ding is heard.*

“Was that a good ding or bad ding?”
*checks control panel*

*The control panel is okay. Despite that, another ding is heard.*

“Ahh.”

*Ding.*

“What is happening?”

Valerie: I don't know.
*Ding.*

*checks communications*

*No new messages.*
*Ding.*

*checks the fuel meter*

*Surprisingly, it's still above 90% full.*
*Ding.*

“Wait, what the hell?”
*checks the oxygen levels*

*Oxygen levels are good.*
*Ding.*

"Meh, all looks well."

Valerie: Mhmm.
*Ding.*

*checks CO2 levels and cabin pressure*

Voyager: Parts of Survival and parts of Scavenger are mixed together to make the (almost) perfect survival experience.

Survival: Get blasted into space with a random collection of items and survive for as long as you can.

Scavenger: Collect as many things as you can in a limited amount of time and get into the escape shuttle.

Space Drill: Get used to the style of roleplay this is with a small tutorial.)
