Different brand of switches. I would assume that one of the previous switches needed to be replaced and whoever replaced it, used a different switch compared to the original. Or when they were installed, two different brands were used as a result for a lack of consistency with the supplier. It shouldnt affect the switches actions

Wth? I see switches that aren't marked with on/off in everyone's houses. Especially the stairway and hallway light switches. (Fun fact: I know the reason for it, I'm just quizzing you)
