Not everything is, but when stuff doesn't start adding up... When I was in 5th grade, they taught us that by the year 2000 we would have military bases on the moon. Even had pictures in the schoolboys on what they would look like. So if it was possible, I'm sure we would have them there by now. Plus the US is the only country in the world who ever put a man there? Then add in the radiation belts, the lunar module and the effects of 1/16th gravity, and it starts getting a little unbelievable.
