It's a good read but its very intense

Shawshank is a shorter book. Around 100 pages. Its very intense. There's a section devoted to r*pe in the prisons. But its a good read nonetheless

Illuminae Files and Aurura Cycle

(both trilogies, both amazing, Aurora Cycle has more representation because there's a lot less death giving more time for love)
