I'd draw an example for you but I can't use my drawing tablet rn so here's a description
1. Draw a stick, rounded
2. Add oval on end of stick that leans slightly to the left but doesn't go outside on the right
3. Erase some of the lines of the oval that overlap

I couldn't finish because it accidentally posted- curse these chubby fingers of mine
4. (Optional) add some lighting that outlines the point and maybe some lines on the horn that imply it's turning toward the pov
I might keep it this way for the left side, and for the right I’ll change it. Idk, maybe I should add the wings first and I’ll add in the part that’s visible.

usually the way I draw things with a lot of visual layers is I'll do the top (most visible) parts first then move on to the back
I sketch first, then add an erase as I go, I usually only use one layer, so far I’ve taken up 4 (now merged so it’s 3) from editing the sword and hands.
Normally I don’t even post anything. Period. I just thought I’d post one image of my actual art and see what happens, this is mostly inspired by Mackerdoni.
